Bio
Hello! My name is Ping'an He. Welcome to my page, I try to make it interesting!🙌
I am currently an PhD student, majoring in Probability and Mathematical Statistics at Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University, supervised by
Prof.Huajun Ye and Prof. Kai-Tai Fang.
I received my Master degree from Nankai University in 2022 and my Bachelor’s degree from Xinjiang University in 2019.
My research interests focus on Multivariate statistical analysis and statistical representative points. At the same time, I love to Mathematical derivation and aim to extend my research through code! In life, I love running and table tennis, which makes me free and happy!
✉ me if you want to connect with me for any fun or collaboration! I’m always eager to learn more and expand my horizons!

Research Projects
-
**Project 1:** Risk Assessment and Sampling Design for Vegetable Safety in Shenzhen
Description: Used multivariate statistical methods (Safety Index, PCA, TOPSIS) to assess risk in vegetable supply channels across Shenzhen and designed an improved sampling scheme that reduces error.
-
**Project 2:** Using Kalman filter to predict wind speed
Description: Applied Kalman filtering to predict wind speed for wind farms in Hami, Xinjiang, and demonstrated superior accuracy compared with standard time-series forecasts.
-
**Project 3:** Copula and its statistical representative points
Description: Design sampling methods for common copula distributions and conduct related theoretical research.
Teaching Experience
-
**Research Assistant:** Mathematical Analysis (Undergraduate Program in Applied Mathematics, NKU) (Fall 2022 and Spring 2023)
Assisted in handling teaching and research related matters, especially writing lecture notes for undergraduate’s "Mathematical Analysis" course.
-
**Teaching Assistant:** Calculus I and II (Undergraduate Program in Statistics, BNBU) (Fall 2024 and Spring 2025)
